Having started my career as an ‘A’ Level Management Trainee with the John Lewis Partnership (more years ago than I care to remember!!) it’s fair to say that excellent customer service has always been of utmost importance to me.

It doesn’t matter who we are dealing with, how much they are spending or what their requirements are, as a service-provider it is our job to ensure that we take time to understand their needs and to deliver goods or services commensurate with those requirements.

As a Celebrant, I am absolutely unwavering in my commitment to delivering the very best customer service that I can, to each and every couple or family that I deal with.

So you can imagine my absolute delight to learn that I have been shortlisted in the ‘Celebrants and Toastmasters’ category of the Guides for Brides 2018 Customer Service Awards!

Guides for Brides is a fantastic ‘one stop shop’ for those planning their big day, comprising an abundance of information about venues, suppliers and wedding fairs, as well as handy tools such as a free wedding planner guide and other inspirational ideas and real-life stories. An absolute must for anyone planning the biggest day of their lives!

For me, Thursday 8th March is going to be a pretty big day as that’s the day that the Guides for Brides Customer Service Awards Dinner takes place at a black tie event in London, at which time the finalists and then overall winners for each category will be announced. Mega exciting!

I’m off to get my posh frock dusted down but in the meantime, I want to thank all my wonderful clients who have helped to make this possible. Awards or not, I will always be completely and utterly committed to offering the very customer service that I can.
